Account & Newsletter
Do I need an account to place an order?
No, you don’t need to have an account to place an order. Once entering the checkout choose to proceed as a guest. Please make sure you fill out a shipping address and contact details.
How can I subscribe for / unsubscribe from a newsletter?
There are multiple ways in which you can subscribe to our email newsletter. You may be introduced to a popup when you first visit our website. You can also sign up for our newsletter during account creation or checkout by selecting the newsletter checkbox.
How can I create an account?
To create an account, simple navigate to the 'My Account' page, you can find this in the top right corner of the website. You will be introduced to a page where you will be able to enter your information and sign up to an account. In case of the latter, you will be able to create an account during the checkout of your order.
How can I reset my password?
If you wish to reset your password, navigate to the account dropdown menu (or profile icon) in the top right corner and click "Forgot your password?". You will then be sent an email with further instructions guiding you through the process of resetting your password.
How can I request the deletion of my personal informatiom?
If you would like your personal data we collect to be deleted, please email us at cs@abayalounge.com requesting your personal data to be erased from our system and records.
Orders & Payments
Where can I find my order number?
Your order number is included in your confirmation email and any follow-up emails. You can also find it on your account order page. It starts with '#AL' followed by digits (e.g., #AL12345678).
Can I amend or cancel my order?
We are happy to accommodate order amendments or cancellations if the order has not been dispatched yet.
We can cancel your order upon request, provided the order hasn't been dispatched yet. To request a cancellation, please contact our customer service team via email at sales@abayalounge.com. To expedite the process, please include your order number and reason for cancellation in the email.
What payment methods can I use?
When you shop with us online, you can use the following payment methods:
PayPal and PayPal Express*, Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Maestro, Klarna, Clearpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and credit cards.
I didn't receive an order confirmation
You'll receive an order confirmation email right after you complete your purchase. If you don't see it, contact us at sales@abayalounge.com and we'll be happy to help.
Can I update my shipping details after I have placed the order?
If your order has already been dispatched, we unfortunately cannot amend the shipping details. The order will be delivered to the address provided on your order. Abaya Lounge will not be held responsible for lost items in transit if the provided delivery address is incorrect.
How can I track my order?
We will send you an dispatch email confirmation with the tracking number as soon as we have created your shipment. You can also find your tracking number by logging into your account. 'My Account' > 'My Orders'

Where does Abaya Lounge deliver to?

How long does delivery take?
We are based in the UK, so all our orders are dispatched from our UK warehouse. Delivery time will vary depending on your location and chosen delivery option. Standard UK delivery typically takes 3-5 working days, while express delivery arrives within 1-2 days.
Who are your delivery partners?
We have partnered with many logistical companies to ensure your order is delivered with care. Some of these companies are: DPD, Evri, Royal Mail, FedEx, UPS & DHL.
What are your delivery costs?
Delivery costs can vary depending on the country you are ordering from and the chosen delivery option. Please visit our 'Delivery' page for more information on the shipping costs.
What should I do if I received a wrong item?
If you have received a wrong item, get in touch with our customer service team at sales@abayalounge.com with your order number and we get this corrected for you as quickly as possible.
Returns
How do I start a returns process?
To initiate a return, navigate to the Returns Portal on our website and enter your order information. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our customer service team at returns@abayalounge.com.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
We aim to process returns within 7 days of receiving them. Once we've opened your return, we will process your refund. Once the refund has been processed, it can take 3-5 working days for the amount to appear in your account.
How long do I have to return items in my order?
We accept returns of items in your order within 14 days of delivery.
Are returns free?
Regrettably shipping costs are not covered, you can purchase a pre-paid return label for a fee from the returns portal or choose your own carrier to return your item.
In case of a return, will I receive a refund on the shipping cost?
Standard Delivery Charges: Unfortunately, standard delivery charges are non-refundable for returned items.
Promotional Delivery: If your order originally qualified for free delivery due to a promotion and the return reduces the order value below the qualifying threshold, the original delivery fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Can I exchange an item from my order?
Unfortunately we no longer offer exchanges. Simply return your item and place another order.
I have returned my item(s) but haven't received a refund?
It can take up to 15 days for your return to be delivered to our warehouse. Once we receive your return, we will process your refund. If you haven't received your refund within 15 business days of returning your item, please contact our customer service at returns@abayalounge.com.

An item in my order arrived damaged, what can I do?
If an item in your order is damaged upon deliver, please contact us immediately at sales@abayalounge.com and our team will offer you a replacement or a possible resolution.
The item I want is out of stock, what can I do?
We recommend subscribing to our product restock alert on the product page to be notified via email / SMS text message as soon as it is back in stock.
Giftcards & Vouchers
Does my gift card have an expiry date?
Gift cards purchased directly from Abaya Lounge does not have an expiry date. All information about a gift card will be sent electronically via email.
Can I get cash back from my gift card?
Cash backs are not available from a gift card.
I have lost the gift card code I purchased. What can I do?
If you have purchased a gift card and have lost the email which was sent electronically, please get in touch with our customer service and we will be more than happy to reissue the same gift card code.
